Cristina Stanovici is a Romanian self-taught artist living in Glasgow.
Although her career is in a technical field as a naval engineer, she had always felt a strong creative calling.
Growing up in a tight financial situation, she couldn’t afford to fully pursue this passion until well into her adulthood.
Traveling is her other major passion, and she finds herself most inspired by beautiful landscapes.
Even though acrylics are her medium of choice, she believes artists shouldn’t be confined to one single medium or subject.
She likes to experiment with watercolors, oil pastels, abstracts, still life painting, and much more.
She believes in using art for good, so some of her artworks have been featured in charity exhibitions, such as the Accord Annual Exhibition or Sketch for Survival, as well as in gallery exhibitions like The Big Art Show.
